Filling out an Action Sheet will be the required method for translating talk and rhetoric into meaningful action. You will fill out your Country's name, your committee, the action you wish to take, and your reasoning for taking said action. You will then sign it.
It should look something like this:
Counry: Iran
Committee: Middle East
Delegate's Signature: Jake Kratovil
Requested Action:Launch 5 missiles into Baghdad, Iraq
Reason:
repeated US military excursions into Iran via the country Iraq
It is important to note that actions should be specific. If you wish to give aid, you must tell us how much. If you want to move/deploy troops, you must specify how many. If you want to sells arms, you must tell us how many in dollars or some other meaningful form of measurement. etc, etc, etc
It is important to note that actions with preconditions, such as: We will attack Israel if Israel sinks our ships, is not an action, and will be rejected. Your Action must be a clear and concise statement, meant to be approved and broadcasted then and there. Myself and the staff will not be able to keep track of whether a country fulfills your requirements for an action. You must take it into your own hands.
WRITE LEGIBLY!!!
Countries Represented in More than One Room:
If your country is represented in more than one room, then you are required to obtain the signatures from a delegate in each room they represent in. For example, if the US wishes to do make an action in the SCS, they must sign it, then go to the US representatives in the ME and UNSC, and obtain signatures from them. If your country has double delegations in the other rooms, we only require a signature from one of the pair, in each room.
The Grading System:
We will be using +, 0, - grading system for actions you present to us.
+
this means that the action is acceptable, and has been approved.
0
This means that we may approve the action, but we need more clarification
-
This means that the action, whether because it is grossly out of character, or simply not possible at the time, the action has been rejected and cannot be performed.
So you want to make an action:
Well then go for it. Simply fill out the required areas of the sheet, and give it to one of the many pages that will be floating around. The page will take it to HQ, who will then approve or deny it. The orginal will be sent back to you, graded, and, if approved, will be announced in one form or another to the room.
