Hello Delegates,
As Co-Undersecretary General of Internal Affairs and your chair, I would like to welcome you to the Economic and Social Council Forum. It is here that you, as the representatives of your various countries, will be able to make your positions on the issues known and debate different ways of addressing the topics.
It is expected that you will all treat each other with respect. There will be no profanity allowed on the forum, nor are there to be any personal attacks or criticisms. However, critiques on policy are allowed and are even encouraged in order to further debate.
I hope this forum will be utilized to get the ball rolling, so to speak, prior to the actual conference (January 16th). Please, debate the topics, identify your allies, and try to find some solutions to the issues at hand. Don't forget to save some debate for the conference, too!
Your Chair,
Amanda Weigle
Also, please feel free to message me at any time with questions, comments, or concerns. I will do my best to get all of them addressed as speedily as possible.
